This page explains how the Vigo MD text messaging program works. It applies to every SMS message sent by Miles Wealth Ventures LLC, operating as "Vigo MD," to patients and prospective patients in the United States. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
The full terms are below.
Vigo MD is a telehealth platform. Licensed clinicians consult with patients through our platform and, where clinically appropriate, prescribe treatment that is dispensed by partner pharmacies. Text messaging exists to keep that care moving: to tell you a clinician has replied, to confirm an order, to let you know a shipment is on the way, and to answer questions you send us.
Text messaging is a convenience, not a requirement. You can use every part of Vigo MD, including completing a consultation and receiving treatment, without ever agreeing to receive a text from us.
| Message type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account and care notifications | Your clinician has responded; your intake is incomplete; a required form is waiting for you |
| Order and shipping updates | Your order was received; your order has shipped; a delivery attempt failed |
| Billing and subscription notices | An upcoming renewal; a payment method needs updating |
| Customer care | One-to-one replies from our support team to a question you asked |
| Service updates | Occasional news about your treatment plan or changes to the service, if you have separately agreed to receive them |
We keep clinical detail out of text messages on purpose. Where a message concerns your health, we tell you that something is waiting and ask you to sign in to your account to read it. We do not put diagnoses, medication names, or dosages in an SMS.
You are added to the program in one of two ways, and in both cases you have to take the action yourself:
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Agreeing to texts is never required to buy anything from us or to receive care. We do not accept phone numbers from lead sellers, list brokers, or marketing partners, and we do not message anyone who has not asked us to. Consent given to Vigo MD stays with Vigo MD.
This is the consent language you see beside the mobile number field, exactly as it appears in our sign-up flow. The box is shown here in its default state, unticked:
You must be 18 or older to use Vigo MD and to join this program. By opting in you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the number you gave us is yours, or that you are the person authorised to use it. If your number changes or is reassigned, please tell us at support@vigomd.com so we can update your record.
Message frequency varies. It depends on how far along you are in a consultation, whether you have an active order, and whether you have written to our support team. Most patients receive no more than 8 messages per month. Someone in the middle of an intake or a delivery will get more than someone on a settled plan.
Message and data rates may apply. Vigo MD does not charge you for any message in this program, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving texts under your own plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure what your plan covers.
Reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop. You can also send END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. We will send one final message confirming you have been removed, and after that you will not hear from us by text unless you sign up again.
Opting out of texts does not close your account or cancel your treatment. We will still reach you by email or phone where we need to, for example about a payment problem or something your clinician needs from you.
If you want back in later, tick the box again in your account, or text START to the number you were messaging before.
Reply HELP to any message and we will send you contact details for our support team. You can also reach us directly:
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier's network and on your handset, and neither we nor your carrier can guarantee that every message arrives or that it arrives on time. Because of that, we never use SMS as the only way to reach you about anything that matters to your care or your account.
Your mobile number and your decision to accept text messages are handled under our Privacy Policy, and we treat them more protectively than the rest of your contact details.
We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise hand your mobile number to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Your text messaging opt-in and the consent behind it are excluded from every category of information sharing described in our Privacy Policy, and are not shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked for.
The only companies that ever touch this data are the vendors that carry the message itself, meaning our messaging platform and the telecommunications carriers in the delivery path. They act on our instructions, they may only use the data to deliver our messages, and they are not permitted to market to you or to use your number for their own purposes.
We may update this page as the program changes or as the rules governing business text messaging change. The revision date at the top of the page tells you when it last moved. If we make a change that meaningfully affects the messages you receive, we will tell you before it takes effect.
By giving us your mobile number and opting in to text messages, you confirm that you have read this page and agree to it, alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, simply leave the text message box unticked. Everything else on Vigo MD remains available to you.
